I do individual and pack-walking. For pack walks, all dogs have met ahead of time to ensure no leash aggression. Weekdays 10:30 am - 4 pm walks are $15, weekends $20. I am insured and bonded to walk up to 4 dogs at a time. If the dog requires a single walk, I charge $20.

Day Care

I'll visit, feed, walk, give medications, and other basic services for your dog. If there other home-related tasks that need to be done, please inquire for more information. Minimum 30 minutes for visit.

Boarding

$40 day for overnight boarding. In-house dog sitting available on a case-to-case basis. Sometimes I will also allow cats. Pickup and dropoff is available to residents of Capitol Hill or NE ($15 each way). Otherwise owners are responsible for pickup and dropoff.

I moved to DC and started walking dogs 3 years ago. I am still working with the same clients that I started with and have added many others along the way. I basically fell in love with the work and knew that for me it was more than just a dog walk. It’s being trusted with a valued member of persons family and that’s a very real responsibility that I take seriously while making sure the dog has a good time. I have been involved with dogs including fostering and volunteering as well as trainman since about 13yrs. old. I am currently an apprentice with a dog training studio and hope to be a certified dog trainer by the years end.

My backup walker, Orlando, has nearly eight years of experience and is fully licensed and insured.

With Aaron The Dog Guy, you can rest assured your dog is in great hands and is being cared for. This is a fully licensed business and I am fully bonded and insured. Dog and keys are always properly secured and under appropriate care.

I have worked with Aaron for several years as my pet’s dogwalker. He is competent, honest, dependable, kind, and interacts well with my pet who can be a bit of a challenge some days. Aaron is always mindful of Buster and I know he cares a lot about the pets that he is responsible for. Aaron is the best person in the city to leave your pet with. We have known Aaron for years and our dog, Cairo, has stayed with him more times than I can count including a two-week long stay this year. I know that Cairo enjoys her time with Aaron because whenever she sees him she remembers him and is overjoyed. Her tail is up, she’s jumping around and barking and walks out the door without looking back.

Cairo is “spirited” to say the least- she is a super high energy with lots of quirks but Aaron loves her just the same and we love him for that. When we’re away, Cairo often goes on hunger strikes and Aaron is the only one who figured out how to get her to eat. He truly loves dogs and I know Cairo considers him one of her family.

Aaron is like part of our family! We rely on him every time we go out of town (and that is a lot!). He is wonderful with Spade and takes great care of him. Spade always comes home exercised, and we know he has lots of fun staying with Aaron. He even administrated medicine to Spade when Spade had health issues. Aaron is considerate of our time as well and is always ready to help out with pick up/ drop off hours. Would 110% recommend his professional services.

Aaron has been a godsend for our corgi, Garbanzo, who has had to adapt to a new baby and living in an urban center in a short period of time. Garbanzo, who was previously too bossy around other dogs, now walks in a group with others and is in the best shape of his life thanks to Aaron. He’s a happy dog and we couldn’t have asked for a better, more caring, and in tune with our pups’ needs care giver than Aaron.
